A double girder crane consists of two bridge girders supported on two end trucks. The trolley runs on rails placed on the top of the bridge girders, providing superior lifting capabilities and stability.

Double girder cranes are faster, with maximum bridge speeds, trolley speeds, and hoist speeds. They are versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications, from intermittent to continuous operations.

These cranes can lift up to 100 tons of weight and are ideal where extreme high hook lift is required, as the hook can be pulled up between the girders. They are especially suitable for applications where the crane needs to be fitted with walkways, crane lights, cabs, magnet cable reels, or other special equipment.
